Central Taco is the first U.S. location of distinguished Mexican taquerias with more than 30 years of experience and recognition in Mexico City.
In 1962 our founder introduced his house specialty “Tacos al Carbon”. This taco combined finely chopped charcoal-grilled steak with onion, cilantro, and lime juice. With one trademark item we revolutionized the Mexican taqueria culture by creating Mexico's most popular taco.
The legacy of the signature “Tacos al Carbon” has continued, we also originated many other unique taco creations which we are proud to bring to the U.S.
